Neobio Natural Cosmetics

Neobio Natural Cosmetics é uma marca de produtos naturais alemã, que tem  os seus produtos certificados pela “Natrue”. A ideia principal atrás da produção de produtos da Neobio é usar o poder da natureza de uma maneira responsável , criar produtos da grande qualidade a preços acessíveis. Tem uma linha de produtos de cuidado de rosto, de corpo, e de maquilhagem bastante vasta. Tive conhecimento desta marca numa das minhas visitas ao Supermercado Biomercado (Vejam aqui um artigo anterior sobre a loja). Como ando sempre a procura de produtos com o mínimo de químicos nocivos para o meu dia-a-dia, arrisquei comprar alguns produtos desta gama para os experimentar.

Neobio Natural Cosmetics is a German natural products brand, which has its products certified by "Natrue". The main idea behind the production of Neobio products is to use the power of nature in a respectful and responsible way, to create great quality products at affordable prices. It has a wide range of face, body and make-up products. I was aware of this brand in one of my visits to the Biomercado Supermarket (see here a previous article about it). As I'm always looking for products with the minimum of harmful chemicals for my daily life, I bought some products from this range to try them out.

Comprei quatro produtos desta marca, um gel duche para pele sensível sem fragrância, um desodorizante, uma pasta dentífrica com fluor e um BB creme. Todos estes produtos são certificados pela “Natrue”, vegan, sem gluten e sem lactose.

I bought four products of this brand, a shower gel for sensitive skin without fragrance, a deodorant, a toothpaste with fluoride and a BB cream. All these products are certified by "Natrue", vegan, gluten free and lactose free.

- O gel duche Neobio sensitive tem Óleo de Jojoba e Aloé Vera orgânicos, para suavizar as peles sensíveis. Agitei  bem o gel duche antes de usar e ao  experimentá-lo pela primeira vez, notei um odor a álcool. Fui ver a composição e o ingrediente álcool drenat está em 2º lugar. Fiquei um pouco apreensiva. Contudo usei o sem qualquer problema até ao fim da embalagem. Não me causou qualquer alergia ou comichão. Eu tenho pele muito seca no corpo e não sei se foi por sugestão de conter álcool, mas achei que secava ligeiramente a minha pele. Contudo não deixa de ser uma boa alternativa custo/beneficio ao típico gel duches “clássicos” se os podemos chamar assim.  Esta linha tem outros geles duches que não tem alcool drenat como 2º ingrediente.

- Neobio sensitive shower gel has Organic Jojoba and Aloe Vera Oil to soften sensitive skin. I shaken the shower gel well before using it and when I tried it for the first time, I noticed an alcohol odor. I saw the composition and the alcohol drenat ingredient is in 2nd place. I was a bit apprehensive. However I did use it without any problem until the end of the packaging. It didn´t cause me any allergy or itching. My body skin is very dry and I do not know if it was at the suggestion of containing alcohol, but I thought it was drying my skin slightly. However, it is still a good cost / benefit alternative to the typical "classic" shower gel if we can call it that. This line has other shower gels that does not have alcohol drenat as 2nd ingredient.

- Neobio 24h é um desodorizante suave em roll-on que nos protege durante 24h sem sais de alumínio. Contém tem extractos de Oliveira e Bamboo orgânicos. Tem um odor neutro, que apreciei bastante, deixa a pele muito suave e hidratada. Não me causou qualquer irritação ou desconforto. Contudo não tem uma protecção suficiente para minha transpiração,  tinha de ir repondo ao longo do dia. Comecei a usar-lo somente ao fim de semana  quando não tinha muita actividade e depois cansei-me e acabei o deitar fora. Não o achei satisfatório. Somente aconselho este desodorizante a quem não transpire muito.

- Neobio 24h is a gentle roll-on deodorant that protects us for 24 hours without aluminum salts. Contains organic extracts of Olive and Bamboo. It has a neutral odor, which I appreciated a lot, leaves the skin very soft and moisturized. It did not cause me any irritation or discomfort. However, it does not have enough protection for my perspiration, I had to put more during the day. I started using it only on the weekend when I did not have much activity and then I got tired and I just threw it away. I didn´t find it satisfactory. Only advise this deodorant  if you don´t sweat much.

- A pasta de dentes Neobio com fluor protege os dentes e a gengivas com um complexo de ingrediente activo de Fluoreto de Sódio, Xilitol e Salvia Orgânica. Tem óleo de menta para deixar um hálito fresco. Cumpriu o seu objetivo, porém o seu sabor para quem está habituado a pastar de farmácias,  é que uma grande diferença. Devido a problemas que tenho de dentes e gengivas não tenho intenção de substituir por completo as pastas que uso, mas quero encontrar pastas naturais para alternar. É uma boa alternativa custo/beneficio, mas temos de ter em mente que o sabor é diferente. Há também uma versão sem fluor.

- Neobio toothpaste with fluoride protects the teeth and gums with an active ingredient complex of Sodium Fluoride, Xylitol and Organic Salvia. It has mint oil to leave a fresh breath. It fulfilled its purpose, but its flavor for those who are accustomed to pharmacies toothpaste, it is quite a big difference. Due to problems I have on myteeth and gums I have no intention of completely replacing the toothpaste I use, but I want to find natural toothpaste to alternate. It is a good cost / benefit alternative but you have to keep in mind that the taste is different. There is also a version without fluoride.

- A fórmula 7 em 1 do BB Creme Neobio com Óleo de Romã e Amêndoa orgânicos reduz as linhas finas visualmente e esconde as irregularidades da pele. Ele também garante uma tez uniformemente, deixando a pele matificada. O BB creme hidrata, nutre e protege a pele contra impactos ambientais, com o seu SPF 6. Infelizmente só há uma cor, para peles clara. Tem uma cobertura leve que ilumina a pele de forma a ficar com aspecto saudável. Adorei este BB creme pois é muito natural para usar no dia-a-dia, nos dias em que simplesmente quero ter uma pele radiante. Não aconselho este bb creme para tons de pele médio a moreno, é muito claro na minha opinião, acho que ficariam com um efeito de “branca de neve”. Para mim no inverno é perfeito, mas não me vejo a usar este BB creme quando estiver bronzeada.  A Neobio tem mais produtos maquilhagem nomeadamente eyeliner, sombras, pó compacto e mascara. Já li uma boa opinião sobre o eyeliner, pelo que estou tentada em experimentar-lho.

- The 7-in-1 formula of Neobio Cream BB with Organic Pomegranate and Almond Oil reduces visually fine lines and hides skin irregularities. It also ensures a complexion evenly, leaving the skin matted. The BB cream moisturizes, nourishes and protects the skin against environmental impacts with its SPF 6. Unfortunately there is only one color, for fair/light skin. It has a lightweight coating that illuminates the skin to look healthy. I loved this BB cream because it is very natural to use on a daily basis, especially on those days when I simply want to have a radiant skin. I do not advise this for medium to dark skin color, it is to light in my opinion. For me in winter it is perfect but I do not see myself wearing this BB cream when it is tanned. Neobio has more make-up products like eyeliner, eyeshadows, compact powder and mascara. I've read a good opinion on eyeliner, so I'm tempted to try it.

Compras no Biomercado

O Biomercado é um misto entre mercearia e restaurante e só vende produtos de origem biológica em Lisboa na zona do Saldanha (Avenida Duque de Ávila, nº141B 1050­-053 Lisboa) . É um local onde podes encontrar todos os produtos que encontrarias num supermercado convencional mas, claro, todos biológicos e ecológicos. Assim, encontrarás frutas e legumes frescos directamente do produtor, peixe pescado à linha vindo directamente de Sesimbra, carne portuguesa biológica, produtos para bebés, cosmética biológica, detergentes para o lar, pão quente todos os dias e uma grande garrafeira de vinhos biológicos, a maioria portugueses. Vem descobrir ainda o restaurante 100% bio, com refeições deliciosas e frango take away. Pequenos-almoços, almoços e lanches todos os dias e brunches ao fim-de-semana fazem parte da oferta, assim como muitas opções vegetarianas.

Podes fazer o cartão da loja, que vai acumulando pontos e ao fim de um certo valor de compras, tens um desconto. Bastante atractivo para quem costuma ir com frequência fazer compras a loja.

O Biomercado tem vários produtos sem glúten e cosmética sem químicos nocivos, o que me atrai bastante e costumo ir lá sempre que posso.

The Biomercado is a cross between grocery and restaurant and only sells products of biological origin in Lisbon near Saldanha (Avenida Duque de Ávila, nº141B 1050­-053 Lisboa). It is a place where you can find all the products that you would find in a conventional supermarket, but of course, all organic and ecological. Thus, you will find fresh fruits and vegetables directly from the producer, fish caught directly from Sesimbra, Portuguese organic meat, baby products, organic cosmetics, household detergents, hot bread every day and a wide range of biological wine mostly from Portugal. Need to discover too the 100% bio restaurant with delicious meals and take away chicken. Breakfasts, lunches and snacks every day and brunches at the weekend are part of the offer, as are many vegetarian options.

You ask for a store card that will accumulate points and at the end of a certain value of purchases, you have a discount. Quite attractive for those who shop here frequently.

The Biomercado has several products without gluten and cosmetics without harmful chemicals, which attracts me a lot and I usually go there whenever I can.

Na minha última visita eis o que comprei :

-Duas Empadas Bio Tofu Alga Kombu. Adoro esta empada é uma delicia, tens de experimentar.

-Tiras de Milho Natural Bio Amaizin sem glúten e são vegan. São uma delícia estas tortilhas.

-Tiras de Milho Chili Bio Amaizin sem glúten e são vegan. São uma ligeiramente picantes estas tortilhas, são fantásticas.

-Óleo de Sésamo biológico prensado a frio 0,5L Emile Noel. Este óleo é o meu preferido. Também uso o de coco mas prefiro este.

-Waffers Mel, não podiam falta. Adoro os waffers de mel, são uma delicia. Sou uma gulosa assumida.

-Farinha de Arroz da Próvida para fazer os meus muffins sem glúten. Excelente.

- Uma saqueta de fermento sem glúten sem fosfatos da Natali.

- Curcuma fresca, excelente para fazer chá e juntar a sopa por exemplo. É único sítio que conheço que vende assim a curcuma, se conhecerem outro sítio diga-me.

Passando para outro tipos de produtos.

- Natracare organic & natural pensos diários. Gostei muito deles, não criam qualquer alergia. Sou bastante sensível pelo que mudou-me para este tipo de pensos higiénicos.

- Pasta de dentes natural de menta com fluor da Neobio. Não achei nada de especial, usei-a até ao fim. O que tem de bom é o preço bem acessível.

On my last visit, here's what I bought:

-Two Patties Bio Tofu Kelp Algae. I love this patty it is a delight, you have to try it.

- Natural Amaizin Gluten Free Natural Corn Streams and Vegan. These tortillas are a delight.

- Gluten Free Chili Bio Amaizin and Vegan Streams. They are a slightly spicy these tortillas, they are fantastic.

-The 0.5L Emile Noel Biological cold pressed sesame oil. This oil is my favorite. I also use the coconut but I prefer this one.

-Honey Waffers, you cannot miss it. I love this honey waffers, so good. Love sweet things.

-Próvida rice flour to make my gluten-free muffins. Excellent.

-A Natali gluten-free, phosphate-free yeast sachet.

- Fresh curcuma, excellent to make tea and to mix with soup for example. It's the only place I know that sells fresh turmeric, so if you know any other places let me know.

Moving on to other types of products.

- Natracare organic & natural daily pads. I liked them a lot, it doesn’t create any allergies. I'm pretty sensitive, so I started using these pads.

- Natural mint toothpaste with fluorine from Neobio. I did not find it anything special, but used it to the end. What's good is the very affordable price.
